Masa Hayamiの現在の制作は、人の手、身体、素材、写真、記憶など、現実に触れてきた感覚から始まります。

手仕事による造形、自ら撮影した写真、肌や身体の断片、光と反射、クレイやレリーフの質感、都市や自然の記憶、まだ言葉になっていない感覚。

これらを起点に、デジタルとAIを重ねながら、作品制作、実験、研究を進めています。

制作プロセス

AIは、手仕事や写真、身体感覚、素材の記憶を、別の視点から捉え直すための一つの層です。

素材の選択、構造の読み取り、撮影、手による制作、プロンプト設計、人間による編集を重ね、現実の感覚と制作の痕跡が残る表現を探っています。

現在探っていること

手仕事から生まれた形は、デジタルやAIによってどのように変化するのか。

写真や身体の断片は、映像や空間へどのように広がるのか。

素材や造形の記憶は、ジュエリー、プロダクト、空間、体験へどのようにつながるのか。

これらの問いを持ちながら、写真、映像、レリーフ、クレイ、デジタル表現、空間、プロダクトなどを横断し、制作と実験を重ねています。

この制作・研究方法を社会との接点へ広げる試みとして、Human Future Lab／人間未来研究所では「公開芸術研究」を行っています。

Current Works, Experiments / Research

Masa Hayami’s current practice begins with tangible sensations connected to the human hand, the body, materials, photography and memory.

Hand-shaped forms, photographs taken by the artist, fragments of skin and the body, light and reflection, the textures of clay and relief, memories of cities and nature, and sensations that have not yet become words.

Starting from these elements, she layers digital processes and AI into her ongoing work, experiments and research.

Creative Process

Handwork → Digital → AI → Artworks / Design / Experience

AI functions as a layer through which handwork, photography, bodily sensation and material memory can be perceived from another perspective.

Her process brings together material selection, structural reading, photography, physical making, prompt architecture and human editing, exploring forms of expression that retain a sense of physical reality and the traces of making.

Current Questions

How can forms made by hand change through digital processes and AI?

How can photographs and fragments of the body expand into moving images and spatial experiences?

How can the memory carried by materials and handmade forms connect to jewellery, products, spaces and experiences?

Through these questions, her practice moves across photography, moving image, relief, clay, digital expression, space and product development.

As an extension of this creative and research practice into society, Human Future Lab conducts Open Art Research.

●When the process develops into specific concepts, methods of expression, production planning or project development, it may continue through AI HUMAN CREATIVE CONSULTING.
