Masa Hayamiの現在の制作・研究は、自分自身や人間の肌、身体、自然、光、水、風、手仕事による造形など、現実に存在するものから始まります。

そこに、写真、映像、空間、コード、AI、音声を重ね、禅に根ざした日本的な「調和」の感覚で、一つの作品や体験へと構成していきます。

身体、自然、手仕事、コード、AI。
その交わりから、命を問い、生命を浮かび上がらせたいと考えています。

現在探っていること

身体や肌は、自然や技術と交わることで、どのような感覚や表現へ広がるのか。

コードによる動きや時間は、現実の映像や身体に何を生み出すのか。

手仕事とAIは、どのように調和していくのか。

写真、映像、光、音、空間は、どのように身体で感じる体験へ広がるのか。

そして、

命とは何か。
生きることとは何か。

その問いを、制作・実験・研究を通して探り続けています。

Current Works, Experiments & Research

Masa Hayami’s current practice and research begin with things that exist in the physical world: her own skin and body, the human body, nature, light, water, wind, and forms shaped by hand.

Photography, moving image, space, code, AI, and voice are layered into this process and composed through a Japanese sense of harmony rooted in Zen philosophy, developing into artworks and experiences.

Through their intersection, I continue to question life and seek to bring life itself into view.

How can the body and skin expand into new sensations and forms of expression through their intersection with nature and technology?

What can movement and time created through code bring to real images and the human body?

How can handwork and AI come into harmony?

How can photography, moving image, light, sound, and space expand into experiences felt through the body?

What does it mean to live?

These questions continue to guide the work through making, experimentation, and research.
