Masa Hayamiの現在の制作は、人の手、身体、素材、写真、記憶といった現実の感覚を起点にしています。
手仕事による造形。

そうした現実にあるもの、人の手や身体の感覚から生まれたものに、デジタルとAIを重ねながら、作品制作、実験、研究を進めています。

この流れが、現在の制作の大きな特徴です。
AIで簡単に完成形をつくることだけを目的にするのではなく、起点にしているのは、人の手、身体、素材、記憶、現実の写真や
造形です。そこにデジタルやAIを重ねることで、映像、ビジュアル、空間、ジュエリー、プロダクト、体験へと広がる表現の可能性が生まれます。
ただのAI表現にとどまらず、AIを通して、人間の感覚、手仕事の痕跡、素材が重ねてきた時間、作品の中にある本質を、
別の角度から立ち上げていくこと。
そこに、生命感や人の気配が宿るように、素材の選び方、構造の読み取り、制作プロセス、プロンプト設計、
そして人間の編集を重ねていく。
その積み重ねによって、AIを使いながらも、AI表面的なビジュアルにとどまらない表現の可能性を探っています。
現在の実験・研究は、完成作品と切り離されたものではありません。
手仕事から生まれた形が、AIによってどのように変化するのか。
写真や身体の断片が、映像や空間へどのように広がるのか。
素材や造形の記憶が、ジュエリー、プロダクト、体験へどのようにつながるのか。
そうした問いを持ちながら、作品制作と実験を重ねています。

Masa Hayami’s current practice begins with real sensations: the human hand, the body, materials, photography, and memory.

By layering digital processes and AI onto these elements rooted in reality, Masa Hayami continues to create artworks, experiments, and research.

This flow is one of the central characteristics of the current practice.
The purpose is not simply to create a finished image quickly with AI. The starting point is the human hand, the body, materials, memory, real photographs, and physical forms.
By layering digital processes and AI onto these elements, new possibilities emerge across moving images, visuals, space, jewelry, products, and experience.
Rather than remaining within an AI-like visual style, the process seeks to bring forward human sensation, traces of handwork, the time held within materials, and the essence contained within a work from another perspective through AI.
To allow a sense of life and human presence to emerge, the process layers material selection, structural reading, making processes, prompt architecture, and human editing.
Through this accumulation, Masa Hayami explores possibilities of expression that use AI while moving beyond superficial AI-like visuals.
The current experiments and research are not separate from the creation of finished works.
