AI HUMAN CREATIVE CONSULTING

本募集は、Masa Hayamiが主宰する「Human Future Lab｜人間未来研究所」による、社会に開かれた実験的な芸術研究です。

人間の感性・芸術・AIが、作品や活動、場所、社会に、どのような新しい可能性を生み出せるかを探ります。

作品や活動の背景には、それぞれの思想、文化、記憶、素材、人とのつながりがあります。

その中にある、まだ十分に言葉や形になっていない感覚や価値を読み取り、人間の感性とAIを重ねることで、どのような表現や体験、新しい問いへとつながり得るかを研究します。

本募集は、Masa Hayamiがこれまで継続してきた、人間の感覚、命、存在、身体、言語、文化、記憶とAIの関係をめぐる学術研究を、社会へ開く新たな実践でもあります。

参加者や現場との対話を通して、AI時代の芸術が社会や人々の活動とどのようにつながり得るかを観察・記録し、研究をさらに発展させていきます。

ご参加いただくことは、いま形づくられつつある未来の芸術と、Masa Hayamiの新たな芸術研究に関わっていただくことでもあります。

作品、写真、手仕事、素材、造形、店舗、ブランド、企業、プロダクト、空間、日本文化、地域文化、観光、まちづくり、福祉、ケア、教育、社会的な活動など、分野は問いません。

個人、団体、店舗、ブランド、企業など、それぞれの規模や活動の形に応じてご応募いただけます。

お寄せいただいた悩みや構想、活動の背景をもとに、Human Future Labが芸術・学術の視点から研究します。

公開芸術研究へのご参加は無料です。

※現在は、日本国内で活動されている方、または海外に在住・活動されている日本の方を対象としています。

研究の進め方

Googleフォームへご入力いただいた内容をもとに、それぞれの活動と本研究との接点を考えます。研究を進める場合は、こちらからご連絡します。

フォームは応募時の最初の情報となります。研究開始後は、活動の背景、大切にしている思想、現在感じている悩みや、これから考えていきたいことなどを知るため、複数回のヒアリングややり取りを重ねます。

ヒアリング方法は、あらかじめお渡しする質問項目への文章回答、メールやチャットでのやり取り、対話形式などから、参加者や研究テーマに合わせて決めます。

研究を進める中で新たな疑問や確認したいことが生まれた場合は、追加でお話を伺うことがあります。

必要に応じて、作品画像、写真、活動資料、素材などもご提供いただきます。

ヒアリングと資料をもとに観察・考察・記録を行い、研究成果を制作します。

ヒアリングの回数や研究期間は、研究内容によって異なります。

公開芸術研究で行うこと

● ヒアリングと資料をもとに、芸術・学術の視点から観察する
● 作品や活動を、人間の感性・芸術・AIの視点から捉える
● 背景にある思想、文化、記憶、素材、人との関係を読み取る
● 言葉や形としてまだ現れていない感覚や価値を探る
● 研究から見えてきた問いや発見を記録する
● 研究結果を、一つの芸術作品・研究記録としてまとめる

※公開芸術研究では、観察・考察・記録と研究成果制作までを行います。

具体的な企画内容、表現方法、制作計画まで進める場合は、次の段階となる「本格的なAIクリエイティブコンサルティングや制作プロジェクト」の範囲となります。

研究結果のかたちと、その後の展開

研究結果は、芸術・学術の視点からまとめた文章、研究から見えてきた関係や構造を可視化した図、ビジュアル、またはそれらを組み合わせた形式でお渡しします。

研究内容によって、成果の形は異なります。

それ自体を、この時代における研究記録であり、一つの芸術作品として制作し、研究への感謝とご参加の記念を込めてお渡しします。（芸術証明書付き）

そのまま芸術作品・研究記録として保管していただくほか、次のような展開があります。

1. 研究結果を起点に、具体的な企画や表現へご自身で展開する

2. Masa Hayamiへ依頼し、本格的なAIクリエイティブコンサルティングや制作プロジェクトへ進む

研究内容の公開について

本研究の過程や成果は、Masa HayamiのHP、SNSやオンライン等での掲載にご理解いただける方に、ご協力・ご参加をお願いいたします。

AI HUMAN CREATIVE CONSULTING

Organized by Masa Hayami through Human Future Lab, this is an experimental art research initiative open to society.

It explores what new possibilities may emerge when human sensibility, art and AI connect with artworks, activities, places and society.

Every work and activity has its own ideas, culture, memories, materials and human relationships.

By reading the sensations and values within them that have not yet fully taken shape in words or form, the research examines what new expressions, experiences and questions may emerge through human sensibility and AI.

This initiative also opens Masa Hayami’s continuing scholarly research into the relationships between human sensation, life, existence, the body, language, culture, memory and AI to wider society.

Through dialogue with participants and engagement with their practices and environments, the project observes and records how art in the age of AI may connect with society and human activity, allowing the research to develop further.

Participation also offers an opportunity to become involved in Masa Hayami’s evolving artistic research and in forms of future art that are still taking shape.

Explore connections between human sensibility, art and AIactivity is open. It may include art, photography, handwork, materials, sculpture, shops, brands, companies, products, spaces, Japanese culture, regional culture, tourism, community development, welfare, care, education and socially engaged activities.

Applications are welcome from individuals, groups, shops, brands and companies of different sizes and forms.

Based on the concerns, ideas and background shared through the application, Human Future Lab conducts the research from artistic and scholarly perspectives.

Participation in the Open Art Research is free of charge.

Currently, this call is open to people working in Japan, as well as Japanese people living or working overseas.

People from other parts of the world who are interested in the research are welcome to contact us separately through the Contact page on the website.

Research Process

The information submitted through the Google Form will be used to consider how each activity may connect with this research. We will contact applicants when proceeding with the research.

The form provides the initial information for the application. Once the research begins, several interviews or exchanges will take place to understand the background of the activity, the ideas and values considered important, current concerns, and what the participant wishes to consider for the future.

Depending on the participant and the research theme, the interview process may include written responses to a set of questions provided in advance, exchanges by email or chat, or direct conversation.

Additional questions may arise as the research develops, and further discussion may be requested where necessary.

Images of artworks, photographs, activity-related documents, material samples or other references may also be requested.

The interviews and submitted materials will form the basis for observation, reflection, documentation and the creation of the research outcome.

The number of interviews and the duration of the research will vary depending on the subject.

What the Open Art Research Includes

● Observing the activity through artistic and scholarly perspectives, based on interviews and submitted materials
● Considering the work or activity through human sensibility, art and AI
● Reading the ideas, culture, memories, materials and human relationships within its background
● Exploring sensations and values that have not yet fully appeared in words or form
● Recording questions and discoveries that emerge through the research
● Bringing the research outcome together as both an artwork and a research record

The Open Art Research covers observation, reflection, documentation and the creation of the research outcome.

Developing a specific proposal, method of expression or production plan belongs to the next stage: full AI Creative Consulting or a production project.

Form of the Research Outcome and Further Development

The research outcome may take the form of a written text developed through artistic and scholarly perspectives, a diagram visualizing relationships or structures discovered through the research, a visual work, or a combination of these forms.

The final form will vary according to the subject of each research project.

The outcome will be created as both a record of this particular moment in time and an artwork. It will be presented in appreciation of the participant’s contribution and as a lasting record of their participation. An art certificate will be included.

The outcome may be kept as an artwork and research record. It may also lead to the following developments:

1. Using the research outcome independently as a starting point for a specific project or form of expression

2. Commissioning Masa Hayami to proceed with full AI Creative Consulting or a production project

When proceeding to full consulting or a production project, the scope and fee will be provided separately.

Publication of the Research

We welcome participants who understand that the research process and its outcomes may be published through Masa Hayami’s website, social media, online platforms and related channels.
