命を起点に、AIを通して、芸術へ。

AIと人間、文化、社会の関係を考える、先進的な芸術研究への協力プロジェクトを募集します。

AIが、言葉や画像の領域から、身体、場所、プロダクト、暮らし、社会へと広がり始めています。

AIに何ができるのか。
AIが人間や社会と、どのような関係を結んでいくのか。

命や存在を見つめ、静けさ、間、調和を大切にする日本の禅の感性が、この研究の根にあります。

芸術は社会活動であり、いつの時代にも、人や社会に新しい気づきや問いをもたらすものだと信じています。

この考えを社会の中で実践するため、人間未来研究所で「公開芸術研究」を始めます。

公開芸術研究について

企業や団体、ブランド、地域、福祉・教育機関、社会活動、個人のプロジェクトなど、それぞれの活動や現場には、積み重ねてきた思想、技術、文化、記憶、経験、人、人とのつながりがあります。

本研究では、ヒアリングと資料を通して、その活動の核となる考えや、まだ十分に言葉や形になっていない価値を読み取ります。

Masa Hayamiが芸術・学術の視点から観察し、AIを用いた構成や表現を重ねながら、研究テーマ、コンセプト、言葉、図、ビジュアル、体験など、新しい展開の可能性を探ります。

研究内容や方法、成果の形は、それぞれの活動や現場に合わせて考えます。

この募集と研究の過程も、AI時代の芸術が社会とどのようにつながり得るかを観察・記録する研究の一部です。

公開芸術研究への研究協力は無料です。

研究対象

● 芸術、文化、表現に関わる活動

● 日本文化、地域文化、観光、まちづくりに関わる活動

● 福祉、ケア、教育、社会的な活動

● ブランド、店舗、プロダクト、空間、サービスに関わる活動

● AI、ロボティクスなどの技術開発や、その導入を検討している活動

● AIを通して、新しい表現や体験を探りたい活動

個人、プロジェクト、団体、店舗、ブランド、企業など、活動の形や規模は問いません。

研究の進め方

● 応募フォームから、活動の背景や現在探ってみたいことをお送りください。

● 応募内容をもとに、本研究との接点や研究の可能性を検討します。

● 研究を進める場合は、こちらからご連絡し、複数回のヒアリングと資料の確認を行います。

● ヒアリングと資料をもとに、活動の背景や構造を観察・考察し、研究から見えてきた問いや発見を記録します。

● 研究成果を一式の資料として制作します。

ヒアリングは、文章による回答、メールやチャット、対話形式などから、研究テーマに適した方法で行います。

必要に応じて、活動資料、写真、作品画像、素材などをご提供いただきます。

研究期間やヒアリングの回数は、内容によって異なります。

応募内容をもとに、研究プロジェクトを選考させていただきます。

お渡しする研究成果

研究成果は、文章、図、ビジュアルなどを組み合わせた一式の研究成果資料としてまとめます。

資料全体を、この時代における一つの芸術作品・研究記録として制作し、芸術証明、制作日、Masa Hayamiの署名を入れてお渡しします。

社内や活動メンバーとの共有、今後の企画や活動を考えるための基礎資料としてもご活用いただけます。

命AI芸術研究パートナー

研究を実施した企業・団体等には、「命AI芸術研究パートナー」の正式なデジタルマークデータと使用権をお渡しします。

このマークは、人間の感性、命、芸術、文化、社会とAIの関係を見つめ、まだ言葉や形になっていない価値や問い、未来の可能性を研究したことを示します。研究の過程と成果を内包し、それぞれの活動に宿る思想と未来へ続く問いを社会にひらく、一つの芸術作品でもあります。

公式サイト、名刺、会社案内、パンフレット、SNS、発表資料などに掲載していただけます。

研究内容の公開について

本研究の過程や成果は、Masa HayamiのHP、SNS、オンライン記事、研究記録、ポートフォリオ、展示、発表資料、印刷物、メディア向け資料などに掲載する場合があります。

公開する内容や範囲は、個人情報や機密情報に配慮し、事前に確認します。

研究後の展開

研究後、ご希望に応じて、具体的な企画、共同開発、試作、ビジュアル制作、空間・体験設計、展示、プロジェクト開発などへ進む場合は、AIヒューマンコンサルティングまたは制作プロジェクトとして、内容と費用をご提案します。

対象地域

今回の公開芸術研究は、海外在住の方もお申し込みいただけます。

現在は研究の初期段階のため、日本在住の方を優先して選考します。

時差や移動の負担、必要に応じた現地訪問のしやすさなど、研究を進めるうえでの条件を考慮したものです。

「LIFE AI ART｜AI命芸術」は、Masa Hayamiが2026年8月に提唱した、AIと人間の命、感覚、存在、文化、記憶の関係を探る、
社会に開かれた芸術思想・研究領域です。

本研究は、Masa Hayami独自の MASA METHOD｜人間とAIの創造研究方法論 を基礎に進めます。

人間の経験、文化、記憶、素材、場所などを起点に、AIによって視点を広げ、そこから得られたものを再び人間が読み、選び、編集していく方法論です。

From life, through AI, into art.

I invite individuals, projects, organizations, brands and companies to collaborate in forward-looking artistic research exploring the relationship between AI, humanity, culture and society.

AI is moving beyond language and images into the body, physical spaces, products, everyday life and society.

What can AI make possible?

What kinds of relationships might emerge between AI, people and society?

At the heart of my research is a Japanese Zen sensibility that reflects on life and existence while valuing stillness, space and harmony.

I believe that art is a social activity and that, in every era, it can bring new awareness and questions to individuals and society.

Human Future Lab is opening this research to wider society through Open Art Research.

About Open Art Research

Every activity and place carries ideas, techniques, culture, memories, experiences and human connections that have developed over time.

Through interviews and submitted materials, this research explores the essential ideas within each activity, together with values and perceptions that have not yet fully found language or form.

Masa Hayami observes each subject from artistic and scholarly perspectives. AI is used as part of the process of composition and expression to explore research themes, concepts, language, diagrams, visual forms and possible experiences.

The research method and final outcome will be developed in response to each activity and context.

This open call and the research process are also part of a wider study observing and recording how art can connect with society in the age of AI.

Collaboration in the Open Art Research is free of charge.

Fields and Activities

● Art, culture and creative expression

● Japanese culture, regional culture, tourism and community development

● Welfare, care, education and social initiatives

● Brands, shops, products, spaces and services

● The development or potential introduction of AI, robotics and related technologies

● Activities exploring new forms of expression and experience through AI

Individuals, projects, organizations, shops, brands and companies are welcome, regardless of scale or structure.

Research Process

1）Submit information about your activity, current questions and ideas through the Contact page.

2）Human Future Lab will consider how your activity may connect with this research.

3）If the research proceeds, we will conduct several interviews and exchanges.

4）Images, photographs, documents, materials or other relevant information may be requested when needed.

5）The interviews and materials will be used to observe, consider, record and create the research outcome.

The number of interviews and the research period will vary depending on the project.

Research Outcome

The research outcome will be presented as a complete set of materials combining written text, diagrams, visual expressions or other forms appropriate to the research theme.

The complete set will be created as both an artwork and a research record of our time.

It will include an artwork certificate, the production date and the signature of Masa Hayami.

LIFE AI ART Research Partner

Companies, organizations and other groups that complete the research will receive the right to use the original LIFE AI ART Research Partner digital mark.

The mark communicates participation in forward-looking artistic research that considers the relationship between AI, humanity, culture and society.

It may be displayed on websites, business cards, company profiles, brochures, social media and presentation materials.

LIFE AI ART RESEARCH PARTNER

Companies and organizations that complete the research will receive the official digital data and right to use the LIFE AI ART RESEARCH PARTNER mark.

The mark signifies that the project has explored the relationship between human sensitivity, life, art, culture, society and AI, seeking values, questions and future possibilities that have not yet found language or form.

It is also an artwork that embodies the research process and its outcomes, opening the ideas within each activity—and its continuing questions—to society.

The mark may be displayed on official websites, business cards, company profiles, brochures, social media and presentation materials.

Publication of the Research

The research process and outcomes may be presented through the Masa Hayami website, social media, articles, research records, portfolios, exhibitions, presentations, printed materials or media.

The scope of publication will be discussed in advance, with consideration for privacy and confidential information.

Further Development

After the research, depending on your interests, the project may develop into concept development, collaborative development, prototyping, visual production, spatial and experience design, exhibitions or wider project development.

In such cases, the content and fees will be proposed separately through AI Human Consulting or as a creative production project.

Eligible Regions

Applications for this Open Art Research are also welcome from people living outside Japan.

During this initial phase, priority will be given to applicants residing in Japan. This reflects practical considerations such as time differences, travel requirements and the feasibility of on-site visits when needed.

LIFE AI ART is an open artistic philosophy and field of research proposed by Masa Hayami in August 2026.
It explores the relationship between AI and human life, sensation, existence, culture and memory.

This research is based on Masa Hayami’s original MASA METHOD｜A Creative Research Methodology for Humans and AI.
It begins with human experience, culture, memory, materials, and place, expands perspectives through AI, and then returns those findings to human interpretation, selection, and editing.
